The purpose of this website "The Prayers of a Million Mothers" is to encourage mothers (and fathers) to keep offering prayers for their children especially in the areas of salvation and to network them together as the Lord would lead. Our desire is to help keep the fires of prayer burning on the altar for our children and that we "should always pray and not give up" (Luke 18:1). By so doing, we will be adding our prayers in the power of agreement to the prayers of millions of mothers who have cried out and are crying out for the salvation of their children.

"The Prayers of a Million Mothers" website is a project of the Global Day of Prayer - Edmonton & Area Committee and the Every Home For Jesus organization together with a number of ministries including Breakthrough Prayer (click here) and Mothers Who Care.

The Global Day of Prayer - Edmonton & Area Committee represents different churches and denominations across Edmonton & Area in Alberta, Canada. Its mission is to facilitate the annual Global Day of Prayer as set out by the international organization at www.GlobalDayofPrayer.com as well as the 10 days of prayer before the event and the 90 days of blessings afterwards.

Every Home For Jesus located in Edmonton, Alberta, began about 12 years ago and is a non-denominational group in relationship with pastors from a number of churches in the Edmonton region in Alberta.
